Ken,

Since you wrote this to PPCC members, I don’t know why RMC was also cc’d.

A reminder from the PPCC Meeting, I made is clear that the PPCC BOARD was going to work on things and let our club know what was going on.

Your “overwhelming support” is 14 people out of 90+ members (both clubs). The other 85% of members did not feel it was even important enough to respond. Thank you to those that have “mentioned a willingness to chair important positions”. I do not know who those are, but we also need the top Convention Committee Chair to oversee everything. Until names are penned, we have no progress.

There are MANY steps that need to be followed per CORSA guidelines that we are far away from.

Yes, when it is time, we will put it to the PPCC club, but as we saw from our last club meeting, only 12 members showed up when it was on the agenda to discuss.

PPCC members,

You will be contacted by the Whole Board on what is happening and when a whole inclusive vote will happen.

John Green
PPCC President

Indeed, we unfortunately lost our intended July dates and, if PPCC approves, have the week of June 16, 2024 pencilled in. Decisions need to be made ASAP if we want this opportunity to showcase Colorado, Colorado Springs, and Corvairs!

Maybe just go to the CORSA website and (unless you already saved a copy) download the September 2011 Communique (Volume 33, Number 7) and read the glowing comments about the 2011 Denver convention. Is it any wonder that CORSA wants to come back to Colorado? Having already done such a great job, is it any wonder Colorado can do it again?
