Hello All,

The Whishire's showed up on Tuesday and are staying at the hotel, they
flew in. The Peau's from the Springs drove in and visited some people
on the way. The hotel site is on the river and is ideal for the
conventions. The concourse was Wednesday, only 34 cars entered, but the
show and shine had about 80 cars. So it was a good show for the
public. After the cars were released from the field most of us went
over to the Portland International Raceway for a Cruise-In put on by one
of the restaurant in the area. There must have been about 500 cars
there for all types, T buckets, rods, customs and a Nitrous injected
Saturn. The hospitality room is great, food, lots of room to sit and
talk. Heather was 95 degrees and clear, which was all OK. I don't know
yet how many attendees there are but will report later.

I drove the 1960 Sedan to the convention and had it in the Concourse.
Did not have any problems on the way. Everyone seems to like the car
and they love the paint job. Today is the Autocross, I'm not
participating, but will go watch.
Portland is a beautiful city, well laid out and polite drivers. It's
nice being here.

More reports as they happen.
