To all,

I neglected to mention that Herb and Jonnie Berkman arrived on Tuesday.  
They were a day late because they blew a radiator hose on the motor 
home.  Herb in the Ed Cole competition.  Also Bob and Lora Attwood 
arrived in their Tahoe on Tuesday.

The Auto cross was a fine event.  Best time of the day was 42.05 by 
Warren LeVeck in his racer.  Herb didn't place in the event, so that 
might put him in a lower position for the Cole competition.  The event 
was was well run with the help of the local SCCA group.

The weather is still holding well.  This evening we (415 people) took a 
dinner cruise on the Colombia river.  A buffet dinner on a 3 deck boat.  
We even got to the captains wheel house to watch the steering of the boat.

The venders room is full of people and I spoke with Joan Clark and she 
said that business was good and they had sold out on some parts.  There 
were some interesting items to see,  a collector exhust system that goes 
into one pipe and gives better that dual exhaust system.  The outside 
vendors had may good items at a good  price, which get better as the 
week goes on.

Some of the tech sessions have been Corvairs at the Bonneville Salt 
flats; Electronic Fuel Injection from A to Z; Preparation of Cylinder Heads.

Tomorrow is the Rally along with many of the chapter meetings
