Hello Fellow RMCers,

Our illustrious Secretary will be publishing detailed minutes of our November 2nd meeting, as he always does, but for those of you who were unable to attend the Club meeting last Friday evening out in Englewood, a quick recap of what was discussed/decided, so you are in the know:

With a few updates to be made in that "2nd Reading" version everyone had received via email, the updated RMC Bylaws and Standing Rules were voted on and ratified, by the membership present. Once the document is updated and finalized with the Board, I will send out a final pdf version to the entire Club via email (and mail for the 2 members who do not have email), so you all have a copy for retention.

NOTE: As a result of those revisions, this Club will no longer be collecting any dues associated with CORSA. If you choose to remain a CORSA member (as we all should), you will renew your membership with that organization as directed on the renewal notification they send to you each year. Renew on line, renew by mail, but please do not send your CORSA dues to the RMC treasurer. If received, he will return those back to you, so just send them in yourselves going foward. Thanks.

The 2019 Officer/Board ballot nominations were finalized, and after soliciting for any additional folks who wanted to run for office, a motion was made to advance the 2019 RMC Election from December's meeting to that evening (11/2) As a result, the election was held, and the below slate of Officers/Board Members were voted into office for 2019, by the membership present:

- President - Ed Halpin
- Vice President - Mike Piper
- Secretary - Rob Brereton
- Treasurer - John Dinsdale
- Member At Large - Ken Schifftner

Thank you all for volunteering to run the Club for the next year!

Club member Laura Wilshire had suggested that the RMC make a monetary donation to CORSA's Corvair Preservation Fund (CPF). After a very positive discussion, a motion was made for the RMC to send a donation to the CPF in the amount of $500. That motion was unanimously approved by the membership present.

After a lively discussion, a motion was made that the RMC join the Collector Car Council of Colorado. After clarifying that this approval would be a partnership for 2019, with the membership renewal reviewed each year going forward, the motion was voted on and passed by the membership present.

Thank you all for knocking out the admin stuff, so we can finish out 2018 with nothing but fun, fun, fun.

Mark those calendars for December 15th, over at Mimi's for the Club's annual Christmas Party. We're looking forward to seeing you all there!

Ed Halpin
President, RMC
