[SCG] SCG Evaluation

Phil,

There are always folks who will make a competition out of anything. Yes,
you are correct that some may try to do what you just said, but that is
their business, not ours. SCG will not be officially releasing any "scores"
(or whatever) to anybody but the owner of the car. What the owner does with
his worksheet is out of our control, but the intent is to gather the
information, not to make comparisons.

Now, I think our time might be better spent focusing on other issues.

Bill, Larry, Rich,
I'm not disagreeing with you. I agree that this should be a
non-competitive event. What you say does, however, raise a question.
Unfortunately, any sort of "score" attached to the evaluation could be
considered by some to be "competitive". If there is no "score" to the
evaluation, how does the owner of the car being evaluated know how
stock his car is? Would the only generate a list of "discrepancies"
(non-stock items found)? Even that could be considered by some as a
competition. ("My list is shorter than yours.")
