It would be interesting (as Kent points out) for the Stock Corvair Group to
research not only the question of whether ALL '65 Corsas had it, or if it
was a mid-year delete, or if individual orders could have deleted it, PLUS
on those that DID have it, what color the stripe was compared to exterior
AND interior color.

Also, the "exact" dimension off the character line and the pinstripe's
width would be very helpful information.

Just based off what little I can recall, the stripe was hand-painted and
located so as to be dead center across the trunk lid lip, and (I read
somewhere) that it was supposed to be 0.10" in width. Any backing
documentation for these dimensions would be great.
