[SCG] Felt pads on battery terminals from factory?

According to the Chevrolet Assembly manuals and 1960-64 Parts Manuals (March
1,1964 revision) a washer was installed under the positive terminal - part #
378082.

I have no records or knowledge of there ever being a washer under the
negative terminal.

Does anyone know whether Corvairs came from the factory with felt pads on  
the battery terminals?  I wish to know specifically about '63s.   Thank you.
