[SCG] '62 rocker panel molding paint

<the correct black for between the ribs on the rocker panel  molding.  I 
had NOS 
ones that had black gloss, flat black, semi gloss  black, and even some 
that 
were not painted at all!!>
 
I always thought that they were unpainted on '62s and painted black (I  
don't know whether flat or gloss) on '63s.  Ditto the headlight bezels and  the 
"turbine" style  Monza wheel covers.  Anybody know for sure?   BTW, as for 
the headlight bezels, I've begun to suspect that the black paint in  the 
ribs might have been a running change in '62 as when I was at the museum in  
Ypsilanti I saw a factory photo of a '62 coming off the assembly line that I'd 
 swear had the black paint on the headlight bezel.  This is all mere  
speculation on my part and I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable out there can  
set us straight.  Enquiring Minds Wanna Know.
