Any info for my friend Paul, who is doing stock research for his '64 Nova?

Paul, I am pretty sure Corvairs would not have had the stick since we don't
have solid axle rear end.

Hey Kent,

 

    Hope all is going well on your end. I'm doing a little more work
(finally) on my '64 Nova and noticed a few written codes on one rear drum
and thought I would run them by you and wondered if you had seen anything
similar on original Corvairs. These had been painted black over the original
paint at some point (maybe 10yrs ago). So, I was doing a little cleaning to
remove a bit of surface rust and these items became more apparent:

*	Two drum retaining clip paint outlines.
*	The paint outline of a rectangular sticker (probably for the gear
ratio or whole rear assembly code).
*	Code 32 written in white grease pencil. -have not looked yet for
rear assembly part # or what # this could reference.
*	The letter "R" written in red to the left of the 32. -Not sure if
this was to signify "right side" to help orient assembly for install or
something having to do with no balance weight being needed.

    Well, anything you could add/provide for info on this would be great.
I'm trying to keep as much of this as I can. If I have to repaint in those
areas, I'll duplicate.
