[SECC] Southern Cross questions

I spoke to Dave at the track today.  Here are answers to some of the
questions that came up at the organizational meeting.

The hotel will cost what is advertised on the web site.  No savings this
late.
Our insurance is identical to theirs and is fine.
Venders are allowed on the site.
They have 5 fire extinguishers, one for each work station and they are ABC
which is approved by SCCA.
Dave will layout an easy course since most of the participants will have
limited experience.
No chalk arrows or markers but he will use a lot of pointer cones to keep
people from getting lost on the course.

I also talked to the computer (timing) guy and they will not have any
problem using CORSA classes.  They have a computer at the timing shack which
updates after each run.  You can check your time by class or they have a
continously running ticker so you can see the overall times.  Plus they
print a hard copy every 30 minutes and post times by class.

I there are any other questions, please let me know as soon as possible.

p.s. there does not seem to be any traffic on SECC.  How is everything
going?  How many registrations do we have?
