Thanx for the help I now have the old corvair block atatched to the original rear engine mount for a guide ( Front and back). I am not sure just how the original crown cross member was built. I think I am going to build a crossmember under the oil pan which would attach to the body just behind the door post with 3" box iron. I need to know how high the front of the motor needs to be. I have it mounted close (I think) with the crank center line about 1" below the top of the door sills. It still looks like it has to be a bit lower. Any measurements from a built car from the crank to the floor pan or door sills (with straight edge) would be great! I am not sure what the weight of the motor is but it has aluminum heads and a "plastic" intake. I plan to use all the factory fuel injection. thanx for now Trevor
