The MD5 is an overdrive version of the MD4-2D 4-speed version that's rated
at 550 HP. Standard diff gear ratio is 5.11:1, optional are 4.11 & 4.86.
This is probably cheaper than modifying a used Porsche unit. And it would be
new.
