[V8Vairs] Differential Question

What you're describing is the Kelmark or Mid-Engineering setup. The
differential gears run backwards and wear out exceedingly fast. I had a big
block Chevy (402cid) hooked to a Kelmark kit back in the 80s and it fit real
well but was engineering deficient. I still have the catalogs and
instructions for the kit.  You'd need a Kelmark driveshaft, too.  The stock
one won't work. IIRC correctly, the stock one's too short to work with the
V8 clutch.  It's also too weak.

Clark's sells the driveshaft it's $310...   There may be some bell housings
around. too.
