The HEI system runs on 12v direct and no resistor or starter bypass is
required.

Starter wiring:
At starter: Battery cable to large "B" terminal, Purple wire to "S"
terminal, yellow (or black/yellow) is not used and can be eliminated.

Harness changes:
Move the yellow (or black/yellow) wire that's currently in the main harness
side of the two-lead starter pigtail to the position in the 12-pin main
harness connector that currently contains the braided resistor wire. (right
next to the 12-ppl wire) Main harness connectors are "Twin-loc" and can be
released with two jeweler's screwdrivers inserted from the front.

HEI connection:
Connect the coil-end of the yellow (or black/yellow) wire to the HEI "BAT"
terminal.

Please let us know if you have made any changes to the ignition switch.
Some switches don't keep the ign circuit energized during cranking and rely
on the starter bypass.  Stock LM Corvair switches are OK in this regard.
