bill, i have a crown setup on my 66 corsa in which i bolted a flat plate on the firewall to give me a mounting point for my clutch master cylinder. the clutch master cylinder mounts right next to the brakemaster cylinder and the clutch rod goes straight from the clutch pedal and attaches to the master cylinder, i use a HOWE hydraulic throw out bearing and the car shifts fine, hope this info is helpful, paul paulstrohl at yahoo.com

A couple days ago the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there. During a brief inspection I discovered that a weld cracked on the horizontal pedal shaft, allowing the actuating rod to the clutch master cylinder to drop free. I'm not sure yet, but it looks like whoever built the car may have rigged up a stock clutch pedal setup to work on the car. It looks like the problems I've had shifting may be from the setup being off center approx.. 1/2 inch, binding and eventually breaking.
My question is, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on a clutch pedal setup, specifically how to get the master cylinder actuated? I'm not a fabricator by any means, but would like to do it if possible. Does anyone make a setup for this ?
By the way......these cars are FUN to take to cruises !!! Took mine for the 1st time the other day and man what a response it got...It is nice, but by no means a show car.
Thanks for any help
