???  Doesn't make sense!  Can you scan the article and email  to me?
 
1 Crown uses the stock Vair shifter.. just the rod is custom, since trans  is 
in original position / orientation.
 
Mod- Engineering / KelMark  ROTATED  the trans, but didn't Flip  it..
 
  You only Flipped and rotated if running a Vair engine in the mid  position.
 
 I'll send you pics of one of my old cars..
