I, too, don't know what a fair price would be, and I'm not sure I  
could afford your kit, but I'd like to find out if I can get close  
enough.

Someone on Corvair Center is offering   his Crown converted car with  
the Crown seat and an engine for $2000. The car is not exceptional but  
it looks complete.

Someone else bought a Crown kit in Colorado for $550 he said.

A guy in NorCal offered me a Crown transaxle in trade for my LM posi 4- 
speed transaxle but backed out due to the shipping - so he said.

I'm thinking sales are slow right now.

You probably have an idea what you want. I don't have much to trade, a  
decent 140 engine, a core 140, the transaxle, a '67 woodgrain steering  
wheel that needs restoration, complete sets of 140 carbs, the green  
interior put of my '68...

Shipping would be a factor.

I'm about to order the parts to hang the transverse 5-speed.
