<VV> Trip Not going well, update

Todd,

My - long distance - assessment is that it is a valve seat "thinking" about
falling out. They tend to do that after a # of hot - cool cycles, most
especially IF the engine had ever suffered an overheat condition - like a
thrown belt that was not immediately noticed. Anyway, your brother had been
driving at highway speeds for some time and then stopped for gas for (a
while?). The "pretty" warm engine had a chance to cool down and this is
just the right setting for a seat that is not FIRMLY in place to drop
partially out. This is where your miss is (in my opinion) coming from and
it was probably noticeable immediately upon start up at the gas station. Do
a compression check, this will tell you (what you don't want to hear).

Sorry to say - been there, done that.

NOW - I'm going to go out on a limb, in case I'm not already there. They
seem to think it is #6. My money is the intake on #4. I know, 110's don't
drop seats. DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT!

For your sake, I hope it is nothing more than a bad plug wire.
