<VV> Corvair Strut Rod bushings, e-bay

There was just an auction on e-bay for a set of NOS front strut rod bushings
GM part number 3793684. They sold for $230.50 !!!!!!!!!
My question is, WHY? Are these completely out of production where there are no
more available from our suppliers? Is someone building a concours car and
needs the exact GM parts, or more likely, do these also fit a corvette and
someone is doing a high dollar resto and needs them for the car?

Just curious on this, as I also have a set of these in the GM box.........
