This may be of interest to a few of the racer types on VV.  I've done ice
racing with this group and they always seem to be well organized.  I've not
done any summer events with them.  They are located in Wisconsin.

I know that Bill Elliot and Rick Loving are both on VV and have also been to
some of their events (also Dom Perino and Rich Carroll, but I don't think they
are active on VV).

WAG Rallycross at Great Lakes Dragaway, Sunday May 23, 2004.
    A completely new, smooth track will be graded and dragged for this event-
approx. 3/4 mile                     length. No portion of the old, rutted
track[s] will be used.
    IMPORTANT NOTE: This will be the only WAG rallycross at GLD this year,
except fot the                     Rallysprint on Nov. 13, 2004.
    23 classes for all cars, Suv's, and light trucks. See WAG website:

    Entry Fee- $30 for Pre-Reg.'d entries. MUST show pre-reg. form at Reg. [
please note that we don't         charge for Pre-Reg., you pay your entry fee
at the Gate when you arrive].
                    $5 Tech. Fee for non Pre-Reg.d cars. [You can save $5 by
Pre-Registering!]
    Spectators and Pit Crew - $12
    Reg. and Tech. - 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. No late entries!!
    Drivers Mtg.- 10:45 A.M. Mandatory
    Pace Lap - Immed. following Drivers Mtg.
    First Run - 11:00 A.M.
    Awards- 5 P.M.- approx. Trophies to top 30% of each class! Please stay to
collect your trophy if             you've earned one.
    Min. 6 timed runs for 60 entries. No entry limit, but if we may have as
many as 10 timed runs if             entry is under 90!
    Fun Runs- $1 each, following timed runs- time and weather permitting.
