If he were to loosen the bolt on the fuel pump and manually operate it,
would that get him going without the 1/2 hour wait to cool down?  Or, does
he simply have to wait for the vapor to turn back into liquid?    Later, JR

To  get going quickly.....   Loosen  a LINE  between the pump and carb[s].  
Just one, to release the BLOCK of Vapor.........you'll hear it hiss...

Re- tighten and drive on....  pump will pickup immediately..
