In a message dated 7/31/04 7:31:06 PM Pacific Daylight Time,
I just received confirmation from a friend (he's owned Corvairs--recently--as
well as dozens of other collector cars) that his 1948 Chevy Stylemaster had
the same parking brake release handle as the Corvair.
That's a fact.
My sister's 1947 Chevy Coupe (took my first drivers license test in it) had
the same handle
The General kept those dies forever.
