Come on Tony you can do better then that. Mine is around 2500 miles in 3 days 
just this summer. Did do 700 each way to and from college back in 67. Did 
these in 65 turbos.
 When I lived in east Texas drove 150 miles ea. way to Dallas twice a week in 
my 64  110, that car now has over 250000 on the Eng., and has never been 
apart, in fact after a clean up it will go back in after I get the car painted.
