WHY oh WHY would you spend all that $$$$$$ on rebuilding an engine and then 
want to use non-detergent oil? Non detergent oil is rated SA and SB and is from 
the 1940s and 1950s. It is INCOMPATIBLE with rebuilding an engine as you have 
done. 

PLEASE use a brand name  SL rated (non synth) oil you can find.
