Don't know for certain what temp - but think around 250, which would be
higher than boiling water.

20 mins of driving may not have been enough - especially if a cool day.

Perhaps the adjusters were just too tight.  They should be set so that doors
are firmly closed when cold (so they don't rattle), but not so tight that
they would be pulling strongly on or expanding the bellows.

Attachments are scanned with anti-virus software.
