<VV> traitors?

Well, As an owner of both Corvairs and Corvettes, I can agree that there are
some idiots in the Vette hobby, but you find those elitist snobs in any high
dollar car group. I have never met any of those snobs when I belonged to
Connecticut Corsa. All of them as you guys, have been nothing but helpful. I
would still belong to CC if I still had a Vair. I hope to be aquiring
another one soon.

I can tell you that my first "allegiance" is to Corvairs, and would NEVER
modify any part to fit another car that first came from a Vair. To me, that
is sacriligious.

_______BUT______

Not all Vette guys are snobs. I am a member of Vetteheads (vetteheads.com).
All of us are nice honest people who love Vairs as well as Vettes. We just
got through 5 days at Carlisle, PA with thousands of other Corvette
Enthusiasts, and I can tell you that Yes, there are some jerks, but they are
far and few in between. Most of the Corvette enthusiasts have collected many
other types of cars and appreciate them all.

Mark well, the perfect world is a goal he strives for, but cannot be
convinced (at least by me) that it doesn't exist.

As expressed by a SGT major I once knew, "anyone who judges by the group is
a pea wit". I don't know where he got it from, but it shows some sense.
>
> That being said, My general rule from dealing with Corvette folks in the
past is, the difference between a corvette and a porcupine is that the
porcupine has all its pricks on the outside. Starting out with "if you don't
own a corvette you aren't worth talking to".

capitalist economy, whatever the traffic will bear is the rule. How you use
what you buy is your own business.

overthrow the government, or murder someone with it, I can't see a reason
not to sell something that someone else wants bad enough to pay for it.

the sponsoring organization, how in blazes could we EVER sanction someone
for selling something they own to another, regardless of the purpose
involved?

our club have the good sense not to sell something as rare as LM tele
columns to corvette folks.
