The only thing to double check to avoid cooking your wiring is the connectors 
that connect the engine/powertrain package to the body.  The '65 Briers I 
have seen took advantage of the alternator and different voltage regular that was 
standard on the '65 cars.  This is a real asset over the '61 to '64 FC's 
(lower weight, more charging), but I think the connections are different.  I can 
dig up the wiring diagrams if you need them.
