The 321 number is the total for Corsa convertibles both turbo and 140hp
(same model # 10767) built for Canadian sale. 39 models were built for
export giving us the production total 360. This number (321) is for only
cars built for sale in Canada. No Corvairs were built in the US for sale in
Canada in 1965 or 66. The 117 number for Canadian Turbo convertible is
documented in a letter to the former owner of the first Canadian Turbo
convertible built. This letter was dated back in 1982 and we were lucky to
find it so this number is confirmed. The letter stated 117 Turbocharged
convertibles were made in 1965, so we assume it covers both Canadian and
export cars.
