i just found a cam and springs with aluminum retainers i cant remeber when i 
bought them.  the cam has no gear and is wrapped as new   has the 9889 number 
on it but also  D162. is this a factory new unit or aftermarket?  i kinda 
remember having a crane set with cam,roller rockers, springs, retainers back in 
the 70's.  i know i sold mnost of the stuff but the springs are #99844 cranes in 
the box with dampers .  are they too heavy for stock cam use?  anyhow if you 
know what they are and want to buy them let me know... i think ill go with 
what i already set in the pile for the motor im building. just wanting to know 
more about them. someday ill find everthing i bought over the years after i need 
them. pictures available of course.
