I still think you are running out of fuel. Think about an air leak in the rubber line by the starter, a clogged fuel tank screen, clogged fuel filters in the carb inlet, or weak fuel pump. High engine load stresses two things 1) Fuel delivery and 2) Spark plug wires / coil. My bet is on the fuel delivery side. Craig Nicol
