Hi Chris,
I know of three ways to do this:
1. Use either a 90 degree or T fitting in the stock location, OR
2. Use a Clark's oil filter bolt with drilled hole and fitting for sender, OR
3. Use a 1/8 NPT tap and drill into the side of the oil filter mount where 
it is pressurized.  Simple and works fine.
