Since you raise the issue, John, let me point out that all of these videos
are very old and have already been duplicated and sold many times over, and
may now be very well considered to be in the public domain. Certainly, the
copies of them I have are of such poor quality that I doubt anyone would get
too excited that I have captured them to digital. Second, as the videos are
currently in my possession and are not copy protected in any way, "Fair Use"
rules permit me to make a copy for my own use and as backup protection.
Now, if I were to start mass producing and selling them, that might be
another issue altogether. As I said before, I would like to make them
available for Corvair Club use, but not for sale.

Of course, if anybody out there is a Lawyer (Hint - Norm??) and wants to
jump in, I am willing to listen. Also, if there is a copyright holder out
there who has good, clean copies (or better yet - original versions) of
these products, I would be more than happy to speak with him or her and
attempt to negotiate terms.

Until then, I am merely building and protecting my collection, while
preserving these historical documents in the best way I know.
