Spray the combustion chamber with brake cleaner so all the deposits etc are dry.  Position the head with the intake hole upward.  Pour in kerosene and let it sit for an hour.  Good valves/seats will not leak. Slight dampness is grounds for re-seating.
Repeat with the exhaust ports upward.
