It might keep your glove box warm and toasty, but not much else!

P.S. First item removed from rampside, now to fix all the leaks and cables
so that I can have heat! Anyone got ULTRA cables for the heater on a '62
rampside? I need all of them.

Another word on the subject of electric heaaters. From Richard Finch's book
"How to Keep Your Corvair Alive", revised 8th edition. Page 31 at the bottom
under the heading Newer Improvements he suggests using a 'new' Ceramic
heater/defroster that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. He didn't say
much else
about the unit other than you can place it anywhere in the car you need.
Presumably it has a long cord. No indication of where one might purchase it
or if
he used one in his car. So there may be an alternative to the engine heat,
especially useful in a car with headers.
