<VV> 65 or 66???

Greetings all,
I have a 66 140 Corsa that I am restoring. I seem to have a 65-66 hybrid...
the car has a 65 rear exhaust grill, 65 motor mount, 4 bolt tranny, the id 
tag says 65, however, the tail lights are 66, the interior is 66,the title says 
66 (and the numbers match the title), and several other small things that say 
66. Is this a late 65 sold in 66?? has any one else had this same problem??
