Mixing dino with syn is fine.  Mixing brands of syn is more 
unpredictable.  This is because the mfgs test specifically for 
compatibility with dino, they could give a hoot re: competitors.  If you 
can get a case of Mobile 1 it comes with a brochure that says if Mobile 1 
is not available it is ok to use dino (Mobile dino of course).
