***Absoutely! In fact it may be a better combination. That 64/65 tranny 
shifts a lot smoother in most cases.

*** No, I don't think so. but I have never tried it.

*** For sure. You may have to reset the toe in though due to mfg differences. 
Get one with the correct speedo drive gears.
