Hate to be the one busting bubbles on this attempt to make "lemonade" out of
a bad situation, but as a hunter whose kids only found out that there WAS
any meat other than venison and chicken when they first went to
school......"road kill" venison usually isn't worth the effort of gutting
it, let alone cutting it up!  The "Blunt trauma" associated with an auto
impact tends to turn the meat into a really nasty "Jell-O" that the dog
won't even eat......not to mention things like compartment hemorrhage and
busted GI Tract leaking gick all over the inside!  So, at the end of the
day......it'll probably be better to chase away the busted car blues with a
nice thick New York Strip and a cold one from the local grocery, than try to
get an edible dinner out of a "road kill" deer!
