donated it back to the club, with the stipulation that it be auctioned off to 
benefit the club. An auction was held and a gentleman from Michigan purchased the

Jeff Ballard - The owner of SC Performance in California had the winning 
ticket. He and his wife had already agreed that if they won the car, they would 
donate it back. It was a fine gesture. Bill Wright (spelling?) of Michigan was 
the winning bidder in the impromptu auction. 
It was the most exciting banquet in years. Other Notable awards:
Bill Jabs of Oregon won the William Mitchell award with his Canadian Corsa 
Turbo 98. something points. Lots more cars moved to senior status!
 Tony Ellison of South Carolina won the Don Yenko award in a Street Modified 
Corsa (On Street tires) - beating all the Comp Cars and the Specialty Class 
cars - Congrats Tony!
Mike Dobie won the Edward N. Cole award (repeating his earlier win!) in his 
65 Corsa. Mikes car is the one I borrowed for the Autocross. Thanks Mike and 
Congrats! I do have a printout of the autocross results, if anyone has questions 
- I've got answers. - Seth
