<VV> Raffle car

I don't know if you can call it a storybook ending just yet! The "winning"
bid was $20,500.

It seems that the gentleman from Michigan THOUGHT that he was bidding
$2,5000. He had gotten into the bidding at the $18,000 level and had bid up
another gentleman (sitting at the table with me) to $20,000. That man
stopped bidding when the gentleman from Michigan went to $20,500.

So, AFAIK, at this time, the gentleman from Michigan has been given until
Tuesday to see if he can get financing. If he is unable to do so, the
gentleman from Illinois has agreed to take the car at his last bid of
$20,000, despite the fact that he was kind of "bid up" from the $18,000
level.

So, my friends, we have yet to hear "the rest of the story".
