Yeah, install a turbo on it!!  You could insulate the exhaust pipe upstream 
of the turbo which will not only add more boost but bring it in sooner.  Just 
buy many pieces of upstream piping since you'll be replacing them every six 
months or so.(:-)  That is unless you get them coated internally with a high 
temp. insulating coating.
       You need to be more specific in describing what you are looking for.  
An increase in boost pressure from what level to what level??  Or do you want 
the boost to "come in" earlier?  Read the chapter on Turbocharging in the 
Corvair Basics Manual, available from CORSA or most Corvair vendors.
       THEN ask specific questions!
