<VV> CDN Convention....can of worms

OK Norm here's the scoop about conventions in Canada....

CORSA Ontario is part of the 4 Clubs association (NFCC, ACORNS, CNYCC the
other 3). The 4 Clubs association is running the 2006 International
Convention is in Buffalo and some of the tours will be in Canada. To run a
complete convention in Canada we would need an Act of Parliament to change
the rules regarding the Goods and Service Tax and selling "foreign goods" at
an international convention. Believe me CORSA Ontario has spent considerable
time looking into getting this fixed. To move any farther we would need a
lawyer for several years to lobby the Government of Canada. Know any good
lawyers we can post to Ottawa over the winters?......

convention in Canada?
