please plan on rebuilding all cylinders and replacing all tubing on that car. 
i would convert it to dual also. 
the gas pedal sometimes can be freed up by pb blaster in the right places.  
but i usually take the pedal assembly off and polish the shaft on a wire wheel 
and lube it up.  clarks has the pedal mounts new.  i used to keep them around 
here.  you can do the work without removing the tunnel if you go easy on 
it..all work is accessable from inside the car. just dont drop the rod when you 
unhook it.buy the books..64 is the best year! regards tim colson
