The car Hank is referring to was my 65 Corsa Convertible where the doors
slowly became a structural component of the car. The tell tale signs were no
door gaps, and a lot of chipped paint around the edges of the doors. This
car is currently a parts car. Possible cure? A lot of welding and
reinforcement.
I think the real answer may be the plastic thingie, see someone else's post
for this solution, unless you have the body sag I described.
By the way Hank.....New job, straight day shift!

More informed minds than mine may chime in as well, Gary Swiatowy showed me
an example of this symptom when showing me his stable of cars in 88. Perhaps
he might be inclined to elaborate more on the fate of that convertible. I
believe Gary works nights though, so a response might not be forthcoming
until in the morning.

I know I have seen this talked about before, but my 67 Monza Cvt seems to be
suffering from the "door won't open" syndrome on the passengers side. What
are the possible causes, and how can I get this door open?

Thanks, Eric
