<VV> wrinkle finish paint for dash

Our Monza dash, like you said was not scratched and just needed freshening up.
I painted  on top of the existing wrinkle finish with a Rustoeum satin black
not flat black.  It came out very nice and didn't fill in the wrinkle.  Make
sure that you use a light coat, just enough to cover it well so that you don't
fill in the wrinkle.  Also I used a thin tape, used for laying out printed
circuit boards, to mask the thin silver strip around the perimeter of the
dash.  It was the perfect width to just cover the silver strip.  I had this on
hand, left over from laying out PC boards when I was in college eons ago.  I
don't know if it is still available since most PC layout is done with CAD
systems now but you might find this at an electronic or art supply store.
