Another excellent, long-life belt that worked well on my car is the old Napa
Premium XL 25-14233 (028K).  That belt went a good 5,000 miles and 5 years
on my 68'.

Unfortunately it appears to be discontinued, as I cannot find it on the Napa
website.  They do list a NBH256597 for the Corvair, and it may be worth
checking out.  You may still be able to find an old 25-14233 at your local
store.
