My word of warning and I'm a user of the Bosch plugs. You can use the
shorter threaded plugs like the Bosch or the 44 single Fs, but you can't
then go back to the longer threaded plugs 44 double F's. (44FF). The
extra threads will be in the carbon below where the shorter threaded plugs
ended and their is a good chance this carbon will stick in the threads and
strip all the threads out of the head when they are removed. If you change
to the shorter threaded plugs it is a life long commitment unless you want
to chase the threads before you switch back. I've found thread chasers to
be real hard on threads in aluminum with out introducing carbon into the mix.
