have an NOS rear wheel bearing to put on my 63 rampside. The grease inside
the bearing looks very good. Should I leave it alone or clean out the grease
and regrease it. What kind of grease is recommended?

If the bearing has never been apart before the grease is at least 37
years old, way beyond any shelf life of any grease.
I would disassemble clean and regrease with, TA DA, AMSOIL synthetic
grease. If you don't feel comfortable disassembling all the rollers you can use a
needle greaser to get grease in between the bearing rollers.
