I have a 65 corsa turbo and am experiencing a problem.When I am going about
70 mph and floor the accelerator the car starts to lurch (power cuts in and
out) instead of accelerating smoothly, sometimes this is accompanied by a
popping sound from the carb. If I accelerate slower the car seems to do
better but at about 90mph it starts to lurch again. My timing is set a 24
degrees. I have a petronix ingnition system and am running a dual throat
webber 40 dcoe carb. I also have a Dale advance/retard unit and have an
electronic fuel pump.
