<VV> Locked engine

I'll be working on it again tomorrow. between teaching knots to a whole 
bunch of Boy Scouts at a Camporee last weekend, Little League, Boy Scout 
meetings, Cub Scout meetings and ....., I haven't had a chance to look at 
it since I last posed.
